Intercan fellowships 2010

The International Cold Atom Network (Intercan) announces its 2010 fellowships. One goal of Intercan is to favor exchanges and collaborations between research groups working on cold-atoms related topics in a large number of European countries. In the past, a number of schools, workshops and conferences have benefited from Intercan support. In order to favor the exchanges between young researchers (including Master and PhD students), Intercan also offers international exchange grants for a duration up to 6 months.
Candidates should first contact a research group in one of the participating countries.
The candidates should then send an application to the international coordinator of Intercan (, including
1) a CV
2) a short research project (1/2 page)
3) letter of support of the host group
4) arrival and departure time of the student
5) any other relevant information

The grant offered by Intercan is 400 euros/months for a period between 3 and 6 months.
A first round of applications will concern host groups in France. There is no application deadline, but submissions arriving before end of April will be handled with higher priority.
